As I Am Review
Ok so last week I took a late night trip to super Walmart, in hopes of finding a good moisturizer for my hair. My usual pickup would have been any Shea Moisture product but I think lately my hair has gotten really use to Shea Moisture products and they haven't been working as great as they use to. So I wanted to try something new and I decided to try the AS I AM Double butter cream, I've tried the coconut co wash before and loved it, therefore I had high hopes for this product. *DISCLAIMER* I am not being paid to do this review, this is my honest opinion and I brought these products with my own money.
My hair absolutely loves the Coconut Cowash it makes my hair super soft and smooth. This is by far the best cowash I have ever tried and this may be my new staple product. I use this about once a week when I don't want to shampoo and my hair just soaks up the goodness and feels amazing. I also use it as a deep conditioner sometimes.
The Double butter cream is suppose to be a daily moisturizer that locks in moisture, rehydrates dry, dull hair and makes your curls more manageable. Some of its main ingredients are Shea butter, coco butter, castor oil, sweet almond oil, and sugar beet root, just to name a few. All of these ingredients definitely make for a great moisturizer.
Overall I would give this product an A++++++!
It does wonders to my hair, my hair has never been so soft, shiny and moisturized and it smells divine. I use the double butter about 3 - 4 times a week, not daily because I don't want to overwhelm my hair with too much product. So every night I twist my hair in medium sized twists. I spray a little bit of water to my ends and apply a dime sized amount of the butter cream to my ends and work it up my hair and twist it. My twist are nice a shiny and in the morning my hair feels amazing. I would absolutely buy this butter cream over and over again.
